When business mogul giants such as Rupert Murdoch are taking an interest in virtual reality, it give us increasing hope of it becoming a mainstream success.

He recently sat down with NextVR, to review their 360 degrees video recordings.  He viewed a range of content, including NextVR's 360 degrees recordings from the pit of Nascar Xfinity series, and Nascar sprint cup races.

NextVR specialize in 360 degrees live video and recordings, and have been working in conjunction with FOX Sports on NHL and NBA games.

However, Murdoch has experienced virtual reality before this.  Last year, he attended interactive advertising agency Framestore's New York base.  There he strapped on an Oculus Rift HD prototype to experience Game of Thrones in VR.

Would you be excited at the prospect, of watching your favorite sports team in a 360 live video?.
